The gardens surrounding this elegantly detailed craftsman home were designed to re-enforce the harmonious relationship between natural and built forms. The front garden is elevated with a low brick wall and entry columns to help ground the horizontal architecture into the site. Natural stone and brick paving create a sequential entry experience with a stone bowl water feature adding interest. The rear garden provides a circular lawn area and stone grotto play area for the owners children.
